Our lecturers specialise in CPL & ATPL Aerodynamics, Meteorology and Aircraft Systems. Having taught these subjects at a world leading university they are more than qualified to guide you through the complexities of these subjects to assist in passing the CAA examinations. Or, perhaps you just wish to expand your knowledge in these subjects.

Our lecturers have taken time to record the dismantling of various aircraft parts and explain how they work in our workshop. We can then expand on this knowledge to give you a much deeper understanding of how these systems work.

So, if you want to know how an aircraft is capable of flying at Mach 2.0, how engine duct design can manipulate the airflow to establish an increase in thrust. Why electricity of a modern transport jet is generated at 115/200 VAC three phase at 400Hz, or maybe you just want to know how valve lead, lag and overlap works on a simple light aircraft with a 4 piston horizontally opposed engine with indirect fuel injection, we can help you. We have thousands of slides built up over many years of experience in these subjects.

All courses can include time in our Boeing 737-800 simulator where applicable, to compliment some of the theory taught on the courses.

For example, if your chosen subject is aircraft electrical systems or hydraulics it is often most helpful to see the system at work in the aircraft and how it interfaces with other systems. How duplication and quite often triplication is built into the modern transport aircraft for redundancy and safety.

Please contact us to have a chat about your requirements and we can tailor a theory course to suit your needs and discuss pricing on this basis.
